Duties Include

  1. Preparing ingredients

  2. Adhering to the restaurant menu

  3. Following food health and safety procedures

The Pastry Cook will prepare a wide variety of dessert, treat and bakery items following establishment recipes.


1. Your skill in baking and pastry making should include your ability to prepare items for vegans, vegetarians, diabetics and persons who are on a gluten free, paleo, keto or a somewhat healthy diet.


2. You will be required to execute and improve recipes and prepare baked goods in a timely manner and to specification

4. Prepare a wide variety of both raw and baked goods such as cakes, cookies, muffins, buns, breads, raw dough, etc. following traditional and modern modalities


5. Decorate pastries using different vegan icings, frostings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting

The primary role of the Steward is to provide world class food and beverage services in a dynamic and flexible working environment. DLE embodies a culture of excellence and innovation. It is therefore the expectation that a Steward should be respectful, warm and motivated, but above all else be a service professional.

The Steward must have a passion to serve others and a welcoming disposition. This position is responsible for providing a clean and safe Front of the House environment for our guests. This individual is responsible for dusting, cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the café (front of the house and back of house as well). Additionally, the Steward will perform a variety of food preparation duties such as cleaning, sanitizing and milling of cane.
